Fun Ford Weekend June 3-4

We went, we saw, we were disappointed. Yup small turn out down there i thought, few vendors to be exact, basically UPR and 2 ford exhibits: super duty and focus. Met Billy Glidden as he walked by, Chuck Samuels, Gary Rohe, thats about all who I recognized from reading countless magazines . Seemed like the turn out was down big time cause it was a thurs,fri,sat this time ,plus it rained fri and sat am . Took the cam corder with got some nice action ,plus a few more on the disposable camera, will post what i can when it gets done. Will I go again next year ? Hunh maybe if my car will run 9:90 i could win true street , reality doubtful on taking the car next year but will i go? If i can find a group to go with . Shame on me but i kinda took a liking to lightnings this weekend

Yea, me, the woman, and 351capri (Tony) went down. I think the weather scared alot of racers away. After it rained though we seen some good action. Watched Tim lynch go 6.93 on a true 10.5 tire. Brian Carpenter (from MN) was there and ran 7.26@200! Not a good car count but hopefully next year it'll be better. I MIGHT go down with the car next year but that's still a long ways off. Where you from down by Roch?? I'm from Mazeppa.

I forgot about Lynch ,hard to hear with all the wind and the announcers accent I was wondering if that was the same Brian Carpenter from a few years ago , he had like a blue turbo car fox body gt ,awhile back from the cities, made the magazines seems like it was budget builder that was fast as heck , id have to dig , i know someone who was looking into buying that car , there was some from hastings with a funky almost pink fox gt there too i think ,catch his name by chance
