Naw I will be there driving around my wifes very clean Black 03 vert. With my kids in the back enjoying the day. Will I see you at CarCraft driving around your PROSTREET Camaro alone? And remind me again what you have for a fast ride?It is a damn poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell any word.

FYI everyone my car weighs 3015 with me in it (200 lbs, I have a big belly). It's got all the sound deadening stuff taken out of it but everything was a bolt-on or weld in mod. I didn't cut the crash bars out of the doors or anything. I did take the heater box out though. These cars are light. Do the math, Les weighs AT LEAST 100 lbs more
, I'd say his car weighs less than 3300 with him in it. And that is thinking he still has his stock heater box in it.

Wont his heavier vert need a bit tighter converter than your car though?Originally posted by Bill M View PostThis engine swap has been good for both of us. We found out the converter is too tight and that he guessed wrong on his rear end gear. The 60' is nothing to write home about, so really all he has to to is get the weight out. when it goes back in his car it will be ready to run.
Never mind, my question is answered.Originally posted by Bill M View PostIt's staying in my chassis.
*edit* I'm thinking about buying it back, I miss driving on the street.

I have no Heater box, no bumper supports, aluminum fuel cell, Fiberglass decklid, hood. All of the factory wiring harness is gone, now has JAZ race seats, all of the hydraulics for the top including the pump is gone, THE 150# of blower and Fuel injection are gone. Lighter wheels then I had before. I also have not removed any of the sound deadning on the floors. And my car weighed 3290 with me 2 years ago before doing all of this.Originally posted by Ford Fan View PostFYI everyone my car weighs 3015 with me in it (200 lbs, I have a big belly). Its SOOOOOO heavy. I dont think I can get it to the 2900 allowed for NA small block cars, but I bet 3100 with me in it is possible.

This conveter was so tight it wouldnt let the motor come up on the Transbrake to optimal launch RPM. This is why the 60ft times were so sucky IMO. Should have had Low to mid 1.4 60'S. Converter came from a Turbo car with 2 times my HP. I had not sent it in to have it loosened yet.Originally posted by 351capri View PostWont his heavier vert need a bit tighter converter than your car though?
