Well, there ya go...................break out that wallet and step up to the plate, Paul........:>)
I always heard (again, unless they've changed it), is that ONCE you've gone over 150 mph, no matter what the time is.
Hell, I'd of had to have a chute a lONG time ago if that was the 'other' set of rules, (i.e. 9.50s or quicker).............................You can sleep in your race car, but you can't race your house!

im sure repacking the chute every race sucks ass (unless you just swap 'em i have no idea) but finding out my car is fast enough that i "have" to run one to be legal would put a HUGE smile on my face for a little while....
course that will be a long time coming...

I'm still at the point of 'haven't even unpacked the chute yet), but I"m sure as the mount gets put on (welded on), permanently, (sometime next week), I'll start practicing the ritual for the faster JUICE runs.
It brings so many different thoughts to your driving/racing. Like where to mount the release lever, how to remount the nitrous activation button so I can HIT the juice with one hand while tossing the chute out with the other, but still have hand on the wheel......etc, etc, etc, etc.........so much to ponder....................... (twas so much easier going slow and not having to worry about all this crap).............:>(You can sleep in your race car, but you can't race your house!

Well if its is any car in the 9's alot were not legal last year, is this a new rule?
Bill M ran all last year with out a chute. I think its 150MPH is when you need one. Unless they have changed the rule.
It is a damn poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell any word.

Answer me this? If it breaks in the rear it falls to the ground and is bouncing around right? If it breaks in the front, it falls to my H pipe, Doesnt the H pipe technically act in the same matter as a DSL?Originally posted by bigblockpaul View PostYes sir that would be a good idea
