Busters has a lot of hot rodders... There's a guy in Madison Lake with a AC Cobra and a Viper that will run any day of the week. He's at Busters once in a while, but good luck!! There's an orange Z28 in town, I know who it is, he's running in the 10's.
I swear that I ligned up at the stop light last fall by McDonalds next to a Z28 with white stripes, heading east... I spun so much I could barely stay ahead of him.
Wouldn't happen to know who that was do you??

What color was the Z with the stripes?

Did you run that guy with the viper and cobra at all?

Dark green or black...

The cobra is 1800 Lbs. with 760 hp not including the nitrous. He's got many autocross and 1/4 mi trophies.. so no.
The viper is the Henessey Viper with 800 rwhp. He runs that at open road racing in Texas and Nevada. That runs in the 9's. It's in Oregon getting new turbo's, water injection and CO2 intercooling..

Nope can't say I have seen a black one with stripes around. I know there is one that is from the New Ulm area that is green like mine with no t-tops with white stripes on the roof, but that one is a 6 cylinder if I recall and it would have been a 3rd gen headlight style.

What year is that Orange Z into the 10's and did put in a roll bar yet... I would like to see one with a roll bar before I begin my install...., not sure if I want to do it at all yet but I know at most tracks I would be kicked off on the bottle, just got lucky last year the time I was out in Oct.

Mike Kennedy has the orange one. He's an insurance agent here in town. He runs at Brainard couple times a year...

I had custom chromolly rollbar tig welded into my car when I bought it. Man am I sure glad I cut that thing out!! Now I can get in the thing. Kids can get in without putting the top down. I really don't care to sanction race it anyway.

Must have a bar in it if he races at BIR into the 10's. That place is pretty straight to the book. Insurance agent....well I am sure he isn't up to any street racing....

I now live in Green Isle which is about 40 mins to the north of Kato. Still work in New Ulm so I get around the area.

I am planning on going that route myslef....But on a boyd wheel. Going from a 275 to a 315x35x17. Time will tell I guess I am just worried about loosing the sidewall going from a 40 to a 35. :

The 315's sidewall is actually slightly larger. The 35, or 40 designation is the aspect ratio of the sidewall to the section width. 35% of 315, or 40% of 275

The 315's are only 5 more revolutions per mile than the 275's (811 vs. 806) so the sidewall can't be noticably different. I'm sure not going to get out and count anyway...
I know with no tread I must be getting 1800 revs per mi.
