I talked to Al (owner of RF) this afternoon, and I got myself clearane to shoot pictures from inside the fence. Anyone who has tried to do this before knows that this is no easy challenge. (I have been there 2 times strictly for photo/video and never was allowed).
However...There is a small fee associated with me being able to go beyond the fence.
Total cost for me = $30, seeing as how right now I'm not exactly Mr Moneybags here's the deal.
You dragracing and want me to try and shoot your car tomorrow? You pay me a couple bucks and I'll provide you with digital pictures of your car.
I'd also like a ride there in the morning from somewhere in the TC area, and a ride back early/mid afternoon....I hate my truck so unless I can meet someone somewhere in the TC area I'll be staying home for this event..

P.S to other photographers...Don't call up Rock Falls asking if you can do the same...I'll tell you right now that I had a very tough time getting this arranged and I suspect if he gets any more calls from it they will say "fuck it, nobody gets past the fence". If you want to try this sometime on your own, call on another day and prepare to answer some tough questions as far as credentials go, and what YOU will do for the owner in return.
