Just my opinion, but if you're going to change everything anyway and yank out a running 620whp turbo 4.6 and trans to put in a BBC and TH400, why not just sell the car as-is while its worth something and start with a stock/V6 car? I'm sure you could just get a V6 car for very little money and just do it with that car.

Who wants to buy it and rescue it then? My original idea was to buy a roller and go that route then a hissing turbo hit my buy mow button. Impulse buying is a bitch lolOriginally posted by KrisR View PostJust my opinion, but if you're going to change everything anyway and yank out a running 620whp turbo 4.6 and trans to put in a BBC and TH400, why not just sell the car as-is while its worth something and start with a stock/V6 car? Nothing wrong with keeping the engine setup and adding a built C4 or 4R70W. As you said, that car would fly with an auto with a brake on it.Originally posted by 2baditsnotachev View PostWho wants to buy it and rescue it then? Been there and done that. A ford computer will only be reliable to 750rwhp and everything after that is a time bomb waiting to happen. 95% of big dyno numbers never leave the dyno in that tune up, they usually leave in the 6-700hp range cause thats more power than thier 18" Kumho tires can handle.Originally posted by Notch View PostWhy would you go standalone? So stock computer making 650whp is reasonably safe? I don't think it needs more power than that it needs rear suspension work and an auto firstOriginally posted by street outlaw View PostBeen there and done that. I'd just sell the car and stay in Coon Rapids.
I make crashing look good
It is the Soldier who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.
