Hard braking with new setup, left front locks up

I have been messing with the bias knob, I think I got it close.

However, my left front locks up quite a bit sooner than my right front. Is there any way to fix this? I have bled the shit out of them, I'm fairly certain there is no air in either.

actually thats backwards, you want to start furthest away from the master cylinder.

are the slides greased? Are the attachment bolts all with good threads or good bite? I've seen a moving caliper caused by such a thing and it would grip hard

are the calipers supposed to have a anti-vibration clip of some sort?

Are you using a 2 or 3 port MC? This issue inherent in the 3 port system.

86 is a 2 port system, I now have a 85 towncar master cylinder which is also a 2 port.

Are the front disks the same thickness? I was told it didn't matter once so I tried it, the one side would pull all of the time.

A sticky caliper won't release when you let go of the pedal. If you're not sure take it apart and see that it isn't binding. I'm also thinking if the pads/caliper aren't even or binding it may be causing the problem.
