SCCA Tech Day at West Side VW this Sunday

SCCA LOL will be holding their annual tech day this Sunday (22nd) from 10 to 2 at West Side Volkswagen.

If you road race or plan to road race with SCCA, this would be a great time to get your annual tech inspection done.

If you don't plan to race SCCA, this would still be a great event to just hang out at. There will be race cars, pop and snacks, and a significant amount of bench racing.

Tom Fuehrer and others from SCCA will be there to answer questions. We'll have information about SCCA road racing in our area, including the planned SCCA Double Regional Event to be held at Brainerd on Sept 8 & 9. There will be a run group or two of SCCA HPDE at this event as well.

There will also be schedule and tech information about Rally and RallyCross too!

    See you there!

Hi Brian, SCCA still does not take NASA comp licenses directly. I did talk to the Central Division Licensing chief about this last winter. He is open to applying NASA experience toward getting an SCCA Comp license.

So you can't show up at a SCCA race and use a NASA license but you can get a SCCA comp license with your experience - it just takes a little planning.

IM me and I can give you the details.

How late does it go? I work unitl 5:00, and can jam down there as fast as possible. I would like to chat about the Rally stuff.
Sorry, I'm not a true 'Stang guy; I'm basically here for parts and information. A Cherokee of mine is getting a 5.0 driveline.
