its going to be a fairly mixed showing at this event for a lot of the regulars I think.

I know steve is signed up for the fbody pde, and Me and scot are in the deciding phases, and I think stormwalker is in that boat too.

kickassflash I dont know, since he is still in school and such.

Oh, my decision is based upon the slight contingency of whether or not my car is running properly by then. If things go well, I would like to be there. I start having a life away from work after the middle of April, so I will have a couple of weeks to install a clutch, get my exhaust system together, replace a heater core, install a chassis brace, remove the a/c, tighten the balancer, and fix my fuel problem. We'll cross our fingers.

this is what I have left to do-

remove AC system, build my IC piping from scratch, put in K brace, put in CC plates, get some new rear springs, my sway bar end links (steve- Bday present Idea.) figure out a system for my PS cooler, and after that I should be back an running.

I would recommend The VF events to anyone/everyone. The lot is huge and they'll put together some "Nationals Style" Courses. They'll be fast and very technical. I love driving VF, but as J stated, I'll be @ MAM.

J- I'll make you some swaybar endlinks if you get me something for my birthday. You have till Friday.

Hey, since some of you guys are coming to our PDE event (hopefully more), would it be okay if I came out to autocross with your group sometime? Since I've not really done much of it for years, I might be a little rusty but it would be fun to get out again.

Sorry about the overlap in the schedule with PDE. Tried to avoid as many conflicts as I could but I didn't know about this. Plus with the One Lap of America guys running at MAM the next day I figured that it was the day that we should grab.

Although I'm no expert, in my experience AutoX is a great way to get out and learn about your car & improve your driving.

Funny how last year, the first event was in mid April at VF, and it was like 80ºF outside, then we had one in the beginning of May and it was snowing.

Scot can show you how to get lost, quickly. Jon can show you how to hit cones and drive in the dirt. Nate can show you how to drive correctly and I can show you how to "forget to call in cones" when working the track.

but what ever you do, dont pay attention to anything I do, because I suck at driving, and usually end up loosing to all 3 of them.

I guess I will also add that 92mnstanger was just

Whatever dude. CMK if you want to learn how to drive correctly watch Steve take to the course. He can get it done just as well, if not better, than I can.

I wish they would use the same cone layout each time. By the time I finally get a feel for the course, it's time to go home. I get confused on which side of the cones to go on sometimes... that's why I like St. Cloud & DCTC so much more than VF. I think I get too distracted looking at the turn I'm in, and not the one coming up or something.
