County Road F goes up the front of the bluff (Bliss Rd). .... take that to CR. FO. down the back side of the bluff, it turns into OA. Take a right on CR. O to CR. M. which goes through West Salem. You'll climb back up a bluff take a right on CR. S you'll go through a apple orchard and come down the bluff to Onalaska. Find your way to Hwy 35. and back down to LaCrosse.......

sounds confusing but it's a great route through the valley and coulees of God's Country.

The Bodega, The Joint are cool bars....Ususally Live music at The Popcorn Tavern.

Yup should be a great time! Duluth is cool once and a while, but going every year to see the same thing gets old fo sho.

Nice you guys are coming down to my neck of the woods, would be cool to meet up with a few of you...

Just an FYI, they closed Bliss road a couple weeks ago due to a landslide from rain, I'm unsure if it has reopened or not. Also wasn't sure if you took into account that Oktoberfest begins that weekend which can be either a positive/negative for you guys. The parade is the 25th, and I wouldn't expect to be able to drive near downtown. Also keep that into consideration for hotel planning. Just thought Id remind you in case you didn't know/forgot.

All else aside, I love the Bodega hands down my favorite bar downtown. I also work at the Library if you chose to stop in there. I'm sure any bar is gonna be batshit nuts balls to the walls that weekend, so you would be in for a good time.
