Light little car like that with a turbo on dry pavement has a hard enough time with traction. I would bet that on ice it isnt much easier, even with the studs.

ya, and this year was a tighter track with more turns. you can use as much downforce as you can get. Last year we had a very open track with a very long straightaway. They had someone radar us at the end of the straight, and we were clocked in the 90 mph range... on ice

but something even more deserving is my friend's dad's datsun. its a '74 260z completly stripped, full cage, 3" pin on cowl hood, ford racing 351W, gt40 heads, msd ignition, t5... well you get the picture. I got a chance to drive it on the street once, and all I can say is HOLY SHIT it has some balls. anyways here is a pic, the wing has been removed since then:
