Anybody can go get a fancy paint job on a bike but a bike with signs of use has character. It is called patina and this one has it with attitude. I should charge more for it but NO I am selling it for under a grand! The bike has a few dents and the paint is beautifully faded so if you bump it you don't have to cry and when you show up people will know it isn't a sissy bike. I honestly believe this is one of the best bikes on Craig's for less than a grand. It also looks cool and runs great.
These bikes are quick and will run low 13 second 1/4 mile times if you want to turn up the heat. I also had two Suzuki Boulevards and this has a lot more power. I bought it a few years ago to ride with my son but it is not used much now although it always puts a smile on my face when I ride it. These are water cooled with shaft drive and are very reliable. 21,000 miles on one of these is just getting started.
Tires and brakes have been replaced. Recently removed and cleaned the carbs since one needle and seat leaked a little. Carbs have new gaskets and needles and seats. Throttle cable had some frays so it was replaced along with a couple fuel lines. Hydraulic clutch line had a leak so it was replaced. New gel battery less than 2 years ago. New spark plugs, oil, and filter. Air filers look good and compression is good. New seat cover since I don't like getting my butt wet from a seat that soaked up water in a rain. Awesome bike.
