I have to agree now, because I guess I didnt know that teh C5 was that older body. I would take a regular C-6 as well over a old gen Z06. Thank you for clearing that up Scotty.

It is a damn poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell any word. Andrew Jackson
No. While C5 Z06s are some of the few cars I'd consider from the general, if you like the fox in question that much, why not wait until you can afford the z06, and simply add to the stable? It's not a need; it's a want, so IMO, unless you don't want your fox anymore, then you don't really have to give up one for the other. Cars are a losing investment as you well know that; and pretty much any transaction, esp in today's times, you will end up losing on...

I still like the c5 but I might be partial. Id do a c6 for a zo6. Too much bang for the buck w a c5 still. I went w a z51 c5 coupe for the removable roof and extra storageand at the time they were 10 g cheaper for close performance.

Sounds to me like he's already got more vehicles than he can dedicate the time to. Why have 6 "sports cars" sitting in a garage never being driven when you could pocket the cash and spend it on something else?
It's not like his cars are in collectors condition and they're going to increase exponentially in value over the years.
You stay classy Chet Beireis
