adding another 1GB of system ram will help you out as you are running vista.

No amount of additional system memory is going to help you improve performance. Your bottleneck is the CPU and GPU. Build/Buy a desktop with a high end graphics card if you want that performance. Or buy an expensive laptop. One or the other.

fyi....it prob an invidia go8400 card......fyi....not really a great gaming card.....its for picture viewing and video watching. it can pixel shade unlike the intel card. will play some games with bad frame rates.

have to spend at least 1250 for a decent laptop with a good graphics card.

autocad actually runs al ittle smooth, just takes a bit to load large files. editing works out ok, just always looking for improvement.

play with autocad a little bit, photo and video editing, light gaming.

cad and laptops dont get along, usually the hw cant handle the resolutions u would need in cad. as for photo video editing the cpu/os is choking not ur video card if you are having issues.
