This is exactly why he is the best candidate. The best things that would come from him being president would be that his executive power restraint would really pressure congress to act. All recent presidents and Obama have used executive power to circumvent congress which has made congress weaker and weaker. It's no wonder they can hardly function when the president will just bypass their inactivity. It's almost like a crutch in my opinion.

The next best thing would be the return of our soldiers from foreign lands.

Any other "radical" agendas he may have would be buffered by the legislature and the least we would end up with is a slightly more conservative federal government.

Ya, that's kind of the catch 22 he'd be in. But at least he could push congress to make big changes. Whether they'd listen to him or not is another issue. The executive branch has more power now than it ever had and he also wants to place the power back with congress. His ideas are good but the implementation of them would be extremely difficult.

The War On Drugs is a joke and costs this country billions of dollars every year. Some of the biggest back door supporters of The War On Drugs are people tied to major drug networks. They know as long as there is a War On Drugs, the value you drugs themselves will be greatly inflated and make those who distribute drugs much more profit.

I would have to mostly agree, although the Mexicans you see cutting people up with cainsaws and dumping bodies in mass graves aren't doing it over grass.

I'll end the drug war. I'll need a couple B2s, a handful of pilots, a couple pallets of JDAMs and some daisy cutters for good measure.

Edit: My plan will also help with border security.
