Hey all,
I got a new vid card for my pc. We have an acer wide screen lcd. When I installed it, it boots and goes into windows login, but once booted the screen goes blank. Then "input out of range" appears.
I think the refresh rate of the card is too fast for my monitor, which needs 60Hz. I would set it to 60Hz, but I can't see anything! Booting in safe mode only shows a generic vga adapter, and their "catalyst control suite" program won't open in safe mode. Any changes made in safe mode are changed back when rebooted.
This is AGP, not PCIE.
I tried a CRT, and another LCD. Same thing.
Can anyone help me? I am owned by ATI.
