It Finally Runs!!! plus overall progress pix

Well, got my '85 manual transmission steel gear distributer today, put it in, and started it up on just shorty headers. holy shit its loud with just the shorties. I have to fill the tranny and radiator still, so i didn't drive it around, but it should be out this weekend if all goes well. And of course I have a short vid from when we were checking timing to prove it runs:

So now i'm fucking pumped. this represents a lot of firsts for me. 1st mustang on the road, 1st completed project, 1st car with a stick, 1st fast car. Thanks to all that have helped me throughout this project, from when this thing was a 4 cylinder pos, through the times of having the motor on the stand and trying to find parts, to the time before the bbq when i was rushing to try and find parts.

thanks. this is 5 years and 3 stangs in the making, and i finally finished one. to have put together a motor in my garage and to build a car from scratch and to finally hear it run is absolutly amazing.
