please read i had my wastegates coated

i had my wastegates coated and they coated the bushing for the valve, and im asuming they sand blasted it also

and this was after i told them to make 100% sure to plug them.

so has anyone ever replace the bushing or had this happen when getting there stuff coated? what did you do?

What brand? I dissassembled my Turbonetics DeltaGate to replace the bushing and wound up buying a new one (only to get a larger size), but that particular WG seemed real easy to replace the bushings.

i was thinking it might be easy. there innovative turbo gates.

im going to call innovative this morning and see what they have to say. im going to call the place that coated them and tell them there paying for them to be fixed also

no i used the one that everyone else include a bunch of turbo guys told me to use.
only becuz if i were to mail them out they would go to jet-hot. ive had nothing but good luck with everything ive had them coat. and it looks like im going to go back to them after this deal

Cool, Nates business is only 45 min from oakdale. So there is no reason to mail them. I know the other companies do a good job as well. I just know he has been at it for a long time.

so i had a minute, i put the valve in the WG and it was looser then a $.05 whore yep they sand blasted it

the bag had mosture in them when i opened them this morning, now they have rust.

well i called innovative and they told me it would be 65 bucks each to rebuild them plus shipping back. plus i have to pay to ship them there.

i was hoping to be able to drive my car by next weekend, so it looks like ill have to two day air them to cali and back.

i got ahold of the company that coated them and they told me to call back in 20 minutes so i can talk to the owner.
