Performance 700R4 build

Starting a build right now. Anybody want dibs on it? I am just tearing down the core now, so if you want it custom built, speak up. Will need money down if YOU want it built, but it will get the "usual" and be able to sustain 9 sec passes.
I have a good turbo car recipe for this trans too.

I know someone planning a single turbo 350 Camaro. What are you looking for the usual so I can pass it on?

It has a 700r4, left it in there when we swapped the 350 in.

The turbo trans will consist of completely different planetaries, shafts and drums. Not cheap.
However the price of the usual 700R4 is around $900. I need to build it still, so the price is subject to change. It does however, give the opportunity to someone who wants it built their way.

If you had to guess around 500rwhp with needed turbo resistant parts? I will pass the $900 starting on.

Well, the average built 700R4 will handle that. There is one out there behind a Big Block Shawn 454 making 550 ft lbs. The 700R4 is good to 600- 650 hp.

The purpose of the turbo build is the ratio change. It is not as low geared, allowing more boost to be applied earlier. It does not add strength to a transmission

Nice parts list you got there, You prefer Superior over Transgo?

I usually Spec Transgo for the daily driven cars when we build , But I prefer a superior kit for this type of application .

They have proven to be a good choice for our customers running these on the street or strip .

All these units of mine Adam is selling are built to handle a 500 hp + street strip car . He is building the 700 to my specs , Whoever gets these units will get one hell of a product for the $ .

Of course we can build you what you want/spec as well , with or without core .

Thats right. I install Transgo for every standard overhaul on the 4L60, but I do not like the lack of shifting modifications. They are perfect for the daily driver. Not racing. I want positive shifts WITH excelent holding power.
