                    Basically anything you can get for under 2k would be a good starter bike. If you got like a used Buell Blast the resale would probly be awesome.

                        For a good starter lawn tractor I went with a Husqvarna 20hp with a 42" cut as it was my first lawn tractor.

                            For street bikes I would stay around the 400-650cc range to start with, easy to learn, good on gas, easy to sell

                            If you want a dual sport
                            Yamaha xt350, xt225
                            Honda xr or xl 250 -650 (if you can find a cheap one)

                            stay away from the chineese knockoffs

                              i'd stay away from the older liquid cooled yamas. lots of expensive stator problems
