My kid will be running the firebird, Spectators? Outlaws? Im still wondering what class the bird will be put in, I think outlaws would be fun. Im making some changes to the cordoba so it wont be out on the 18th, and......... I have a 3rd car coming out for spectators this year

Spectator drags tag team race!!!!
I have suggested changing the outlaws to a tag team race using the outlaws teamed with regular spectator cars, I need everyone's help to get it started.
Please call; Scott Mondus, Promotions Manager at Elkospeedway. Phone: (651)226-3706 to show your intrest and support.
The tag team race goes like this, each outlaw car is teamed up with a regular spectator car, the outlaws line up as usual with their tag team partners lined up on the inside track at the opposite side of the track, "everyone still races the outside track," this avoids anyone from getting hit and keeps the first two racers behind and out of the way of the next two, when your team mate crosses his finish line then a flagman at your end of the track singes you to go. the team that wins is determined by the winner of the last race with their finish line on the side they lined up on.
Teams can be picked at random, or people can team up before the race or we can have the top finishing spectator cars are invited to run tag team with the outlaws. this would keep the playing field even. You may beat me, But I'll make you earn it!!

Brian, where have you been? Your missing all the action. Sellner has got a really sticky set of tires this year. I have to admit they are very impressive, the guy is a master at soaking tires. So far we cant even come close to beting him however he keeps taking suspension hits from us.
If the guy keeps driving the way he does he's just helping us chip away at his car, how much can a car take before suspension and frame start to tweak. Each hit has been a direct hit to his front and rear tire.
Meanwhile I have 3 more firebird bodies just sitting around waiting to come out next. He may win the race but in the long run hes losing the war.

Been swamped lately, should be out there for the next event. Was there alot of trading paint that last outing? The motor is going in the Galant this weekend along with a stronger rear diff.
I haven't pounded out the 1/4 yet. Figure I'll leave it's battle wounds untill winter.
Youtube is gettin' ugly
