I think it would be really difficult and expensive to perfectly replicate the combustion chamber contours, surface texture, CCs, etc. I am not sure why anyone would try.

Bummer for the owner who sent the car out to get detailed before selling it and had the detail guy **** around and over-rev it. No bummer for me as I bought a car with a huge amount of money in it for a good price knowing it was hurt, even though the damage was a little worse than I was hoping for..

Needs more rev limiter. I wonder why the detail company didn't pay for the repairs.

The porting part isn't difficult, the whole thing actually isn't difficult as its just a step by step operation, just time consuming, and time costs money.... Here's a similar repair...

Any particular place in mind for that price? I got an email estimate back from one of the shops listed above for over double that....

That's typically what we charge for a chamber repair of that type.If there is additional damage elsewhere,[guides,seats] that would cost more.
