    I think it would be really difficult and expensive to perfectly replicate the combustion chamber contours, surface texture, CCs, etc. I am not sure why anyone would try.

        The porting part isn't difficult, the whole thing actually isn't difficult as its just a step by step operation, just time consuming, and time costs money.... Here's a similar repair...

            Repairs should be between $300-350,unless there is more damage that is not pictured.

              Any particular place in mind for that price? I got an email estimate back from one of the shops listed above for over double that....

                That's typically what we charge for a chamber repair of that type.If there is additional damage elsewhere,[guides,seats] that would cost more.
