Most Mopar guys want to see the fender tag. You may want to throw a pic of that up as well.

That's the vin tag you dolt!! The FENDER tag is on the FENDER. It gives all the info such as options and color. Driver side top of the inner fender.

Just trying to help the guy out. Options such as color and performance options go a loooong way on this car. Being a numbers matching car it stands to reason that someone will be looking to properly restore it. If it's a factory green car, it's less likely to fetch bigger money than say a HEMI orange or B5 blue car.

I'd trade my 83 Mustang for it and come to your co worker...

How about listing the the options? Disc brakes? does he have the original carb/intake? Is it still SBP (small bolt pattern)? how is the area around the windshield? Why no Rallye dash with a 340?? (seems weird to me)

the VIN says it's a 340 car but dashes can be swapped out just like motors... do you know for certain it's a numbers matching car??

I know that's the vin tag but that's all he gave me. When I see him this evening I will tell him to shoot me over a pic of the fender tag and will post that as soon as I have it.

I will ask him tonight at work to list more of the options and I will post them for you then. When I told him to include all the specs on the car all he gave me was what I copied and pasted in...so much for thoroughness...guess I'll have to write the bastard up for poor follow through

No worries about jacking the thread. It's always entertaining when the flaming starts. Anyway, I'll throw that option at him tonight and see if he's interested...

10k doesn't buy you much in the muscle car market so I think without seeing the car in the flesh it would be pretty unfair to state that isn't worth 10k. I looked at a lot of 10-15k cars before i went to the huge project of restoring my chevelle and a majority of your 10k cars needed paint and panel work to the trained eye. I love the six pack and four speed regardless if it is original. It would be a fun car to own and I'm not much of a mopar guy.

I am being told the Rallye dash was no longer an option after 1971...
                            More specs on the car:
                            - no disc brakes or power assist...drums and plenty of leg strength to stop this beast
                            - no power steering...better to pump up the guns so the chicks love ya
                            - has small bolt pattern
                            - six pack is not original to this car but the motor itself is matching. Does NOT have the original intake or carb.
                            - original color was EV2 Hemi Orange.
I will post the fender tag tomorrow once he sends me the pic. If anyone has any more questions or needs more info on the car give him a call on his cell or email him at rjhemi69@comcast.net
