    Mark 8 Fuel Tank Mod

This is a tank I did for a TC Stangs member (not sure hsi SN). It a Mark 8 tank that he wanted baffled and a trap door added so when making right hand turns the fuel would not move away from the pump and starve it.

I'm a girl when welding around explosive things, you won't catch me doing it. I'm just curious on how you safely evacuated all the vapors to where you felt comfortable doing it.

                Thanks again Dan!

I run E85 to begin with so it wasn't a big deal cleaning it out. I just wiped it out as best as I could. I let it air out for a few days, then rinsed it out with Ethanol and wiped it out again. Let it sit overnight, then I think the drive over to Dan's place aired it out pretty good.

I saw Mark 8 fuel tank mod, and the first people I thought of were either Phranquy or Crash. guess the latter was correct

He spends too much time biking now. I talked to him a few days ago and he 'said' he was going to be at nationals...

Otherwise I can modify the tank that belongs in your car unless it is plastic.

yep... plastic junk. Was shocked to find out that the Lincoln tank was metal. (Lincoln and T-bird share a family tree).
