01 grand cherokee 4.7 oil pressure issues

sending unit has been replaced. oil pressure is fine when idiling or under heavy load. while watching on scan tool voltage will go from 4.4 to .33 volts and hold if you keep the gas pedal steady. the in dash oil gauge goes to zero psi and check gauges light illuminates. hooked up mechanical op gauge and verified actaul oil pressure does not change, has anyone ever come across ip cluster issues or wiring circuit issues for the op gauge. it was doing this before the sender was replaced

ok from what i just read you need to first check the connections at pcm,due to powersteering fluid leaking from the powersteering sending unit if no problem found there its recommending replacing the pcm for the oil pressure issue

Yeah I have seen countless trucks/Durango's/Jeep's with rod knock 4.7's in the past year, then again ACR got what 280k out of his before he sold his Dakota. I was looking at buying a 2000 Limited with a bad 4.7 till I saw what they want for used 100k engines $1800!. Give me a 5.2 any day, I have yet to see one with rod knock and mine is strong as fuck at 212k and smooth.
