North Shore Cruise
May 22-23, 2010
Meet in Hibbing at the Memorial bldg between 11-12
drive up to Ely stop and look around for awhile.
Then head for the North Shore.
Head for Split Rock Lighthouse for some sight seeing Then make our way to Beaver Bay (if there is enough interest and people I can check into some group rates for rooms for the night)
Sunday morning make our way down to Duluth and invade Canal park for awhile. and then everyone make there ways back Home.
Myself and another guy from Hibbing are thinking of trying to put together a north shore cruise in mid may up through Ely and over to the shore and back down to Duluth. I know most of you are around the cities but if anyone wants to make the voyage that would be great!
So far we have 5 of us and a couple from other sites but it's early yet, if you are interested let me know, the more people I can get together the more I would try to put together an itinery of stops and etc. or ideas are welcomed
Could be a great kick-off to the season!
I've posted this up on other MN forums too Hoping to get a large group together, Pm me if you can make it so I can get a tally of how many I have some free passes to the Museum in Ely as well as Split rock and the North Shore Fishing Museum. I'm working on getting some passes to the Duluth aquarium too
