The MM guys feel that the AI ride height rule is an imaginary number that cannot be achieved on a mustang due to packaging issues when you attempt to fix bumpsteer. The bolt in the spindle would need to be so long that it would hit the wheel. These darn mustangs have the worst design for a racecar. I can't lower my engine because the steering rack is 1/8" away from my oil pan, I can't lower my steering rack because it will hose my precious bump steer I worked so hard to adjust to almost nothing, I can't lower the car more because of the above mentioned intereference and roll center issues.
I may try slamming the car down to 5" @ the rocker and see how it feels with the rollcenter somewhere near Beijing (which I hear, is where New Holland tractors are made, now).
