    Lifted Explorer Sport

Alright its back for sale, I have too many vehicles. I spent the weekend coating the lower portion and bumpers with bed liner. I did it correctly and sanded the clear off, and did under the moldings.

Truck has a 4.0 over head cam, 4:10 gears, fully loaded - leather moon roof, ect. 3" body lift and 2.5" suspension lift. Truxus MT 33" tires on 15X8" craiger rims. 148K miles, lots of new parts, and runs great. Aftermarket stereo, Pioneer and Rockford head unit, speakers, amps, and sub.

so what all did you have to do to prep for the bedliner? Sand down to bare metal (I read that's what you should do... trying to get motivated to do similar to my truck).

How about the bumpers? Were they chrome to begin with or?

the directions said not to go to bare metal. Just to remove the clear or roughen up the surface. It was alot more work than I had intended. It took me about 2 good 8 hour days to do it. I removed the moldings and bumpers and coated under them on the truck. The bumpers were origonaly painted. THe rear bumper was pretty rusty, so I completly stripped it down and sanded all the rust off, then primed it before the bed liner.

Masking areas off sucks because once it dries it is a solid object, and you have to pretty much cut the liner at the mask line.

Now that I have told you this you will need to buy it

Looks good man. Turned out nice.

I made sure that he did this correctly. I supervised and drank beer during said process.
