Were any of you this bored this winter?

    Before

    After

Half of the underside is put back together, everything painted,,,,,,everything.

Can't wait to get it on a real lift and take pics of the whole thing complete.

    Paul

By the way, it was painted with POR15 and looks much better in person, I'm a rookie with the digital camera.

It's rust prohibitive paint. You can't dent the shit with a hammer or harldy touch it with any chemical. Plus I don't drive it in the winter or rain so I'm not worried.

looks nice, i think i'd be putting some towels on those jackstands
looks like you have a very good combination, did you ever dyno it?
did you have to do alot of work to get the rpm2 to match your heads? Ed told me they didn't line up very well.

The car has not been dynoed. I really don't care what it makes. I know it's making some good power.

The intake needed to be milled at the heads about .100 to .125, I can't remember exactly. The corners of the heads stick into the intake a bit but as per my brothers conversations with Ed, the corners are not that big of concern for flow really so I left them. Side to side fit was dead on. Nothing has been ported.
Cam specs from Ed are off a bit. I ran it all last year with horseshit idle. If the PMS don't fix it and a few other things I'm doing, I'll be getting re-grind or different cam altogether.

Bill, I'm still about 1 month out from having the car put back together. Few more things to paint, blah blah blah. My brothers car was running 10.4's at 128. May be a little quicker this year. It is one of the smoothest sounding cars you'll ever see go down the track. Gear shifts are seamless and it just pulls smooth. I have a video of it but no way to host it yet. Maybe some day.

As for my car, if I don't see a 10 this year, next year will not be a problem. If not this year, next year will see an all new exhaust and k-member, which along with the tuning and gears will easily put me in the 10's. A non-trailered 10 second car running a t5 is not something I care to really own yet,,,,hahhhhhh
