    98 SN95 4.6L intake manifold problems

I recently cracked the stock intake manifold and had a friend with a 2001 Crown Vic intake manifold that is actually metal instead of the plenum. Would this fit my Mustang? And if not does anyone know where I can get another stock one?

    Thx
    Byteme!

I feel your pain, I went through two in two years. One cracked and the other started leaking between the plastic and the aluminum crossover. Needless to say I don't have a plastic intake anymore.

might as well get a Pi intake manafold while your at it from the 99+ stangs to gain some HP while your at it you should be able to find a used one for under $100 easy. Just got to relocate one of the temp sensors to the block.

I think that involves swapping the heads too, doesn't it?

No. You can use either PI or NPI gaskets and RTV to seal everything up. I forget which one is which but with one of them you put RTV around the coolant passages and the other it is around the runner.
