    Cleaning White Convert Top

I have a white top that I cannot get clean. The top is only 3 years old but has greyish areas and dirty spots that I can't get clean. I've tried Tide and Oxy Clean with a good bristle brush. Does anyone have any type of trick for whitening it back up again??

I just did mine, I have given everything a try. The best ting I have found is a water base wax and grease remover from 3M I will try to get the part # for you I have a can at home. It is the only shit I used where you could tell the difference.

It is the vinyl crap with kind of a rough surface. I will try the other stuff and hope it helps. Maybe time to switch to a black top.

Followed by mineral oil. = when I was detailing. Put the mineral oil on a rag or use a spray bottle. Coat the shit out of it, Then wipe the excess. It will collect dirt like you tires do after shining but a hot pressure washer usually takes car of it.

Make sure you get it real clean before the oil or you will seal the dirt in.

(BTW: MINERAL SPIRITS IS NOT MINERAL OIL.) Just to make sure you don't do it wrong.
