The MM guys feel that the AI ride height rule is an imaginary number that cannot be achieved on a mustang due to packaging issues when you attempt to fix bumpsteer. The bolt in the spindle would need to be so long that it would hit the wheel. These darn mustangs have the worst design for a racecar. I can't lower my engine because the steering rack is 1/8" away from my oil pan, I can't lower my steering rack because it will hose my precious bump steer I worked so hard to adjust to almost nothing, I can't lower the car more because of the above mentioned intereference and roll center issues.

I may try slamming the car down to 5" @ the rocker and see how it feels with the rollcenter somewhere near Beijing (which I hear, is where New Holland tractors are made, now).
My couch pulls out but I don't.

That is why they all run in AI lol! So everyone has the same problems.

If you want to slam it, put Cobra IRS out back so you have more control over roll centers, then just deal with some extra bump steer. I don't think that is the best route, but if you are going to slam it it would probably be better lol.

This gets really fun when you need to add rake to the car to compensate for a rear wing pressing the rear of the car down and then it screws up the roll axis inclination. I get to figure out the rake for my car with a splitter and a wing next April @ RA. Yay!
